Semantic Pre-processing of Anaphoric References

In the paper we describe the method of encoding communication of agents in a multi-agent system (MAS). The autonomous agents communicate with each other by exchanging messages formulated in a near-to-natural language. Transparent Intensional Logic (TIL) is an expressive system primarily designed for the logical analysis of natural language; thus we make use of TIL as a tool for encoding the semantic content of messages. The hyper-intensional features of TIL analysis are described in particular with respect to agents’ attitudes and anaphoric references. By an example we illustrate the way TIL can function as a dynamic logic of discourse where anaphoric pronouns refer to entities of any type, even constructions, i.e. the structured meanings of other expressions.
